Come Prepared — What to Bring

Amenities are minimal by design

Our camping spots are primitive and off-grid. There are no showers, no camp store, and no amenities beyond the RV hookup. If you're comfortable with that — you're going to love it here. Here's what to pack:

💧All the water you need — none on site
🍩All food and supplies — stock up in Panguitch (28 mi) or Cedar City (45 mi)
🧹First aid kit
📱Offline maps — cell service is limited
🔌Headlamp or lantern
🧥Warm layers — nights drop sharply at almost 8,000 ft even in summer
🔥Fire extinguisher if you plan to use a camp stove
📷Camera — you'll want it for the Milky Way

The Honest Truth About Camping Here

We keep camping intentionally small — a few spots only. Our priority is the cabin guests, and we want to make sure campers and cabin guests coexist comfortably without crowding the property or straining shared spaces.

We'll be straight with you: our camping amenities are minimal right now. No showers, no camp store, no glamping setup. If you're a van lifer, overlander, or off-grid camper who's self-sufficient and just needs a spot under an incredible sky between two national parks — you're our kind of guest. We're hoping to expand amenities in the future, but for now, come prepared.

If our spots are full, our awesome neighbors at Camp Lutherwood also offer camping — see below.

Fire Restrictions — Please Read

Hipcamp automatically sets fire restriction status based on current local conditions — please check your booking confirmation and respect whatever restriction is in effect at the time of your stay. Fire rules can change quickly in southern Utah, especially July through September. When in doubt, don't light a fire. No campfire is worth a wildfire. Always fully extinguish fires before sleeping or leaving your site — if it's too hot to touch, it's not out.
